Few photos start out perfectly. One of the software I use frequently in editing photos is Picasa. Picasa is Google’s freeware for photo management.

Picasa 3 (beta) is released recently. There are quite a number of new features available in this latest version of Picasa such as Add text or watermarks to photo, automatically fix red eye, screen capture, retouch the image and so on.

One of the features I like of Picasa is “I’m Feeling Lucky”! It really help non-designer like me to adjust photos. It enhances dark and bright colors in a photo and adjusts both color and contrast to optimal levels in one click. It has enhanced many of my dull photos come alive automatically

I use Picasa mainly because this “I’m Feeling Lucky” magic button and also it makes it so easy to upload photos to Picasa Web Albums. Download Picasa and see how you can edit and add effects to your photos with a few simple clicks.

    1. [...] Picasa [...]

    2. I also using it, is able to synchronize your local computer folder with web album too.

    3. I also use picasa but I think gimp is much more powerful although not as friendly.

    4. Ya, super agree!
GIMP can be an alternative to Photoshop, but need to learn a lot of things on it especially if you do not have the background on using these graphic tools. Have borrow a book on it, but no time to read it so far :)
