Learning digital camera
Posted on October 11th, 2008 3 commentsAfter experiencing problem with taking video and photo using my iPAQ Voice Messenger, I decided to learn digital camera now.
I bought a Canon PowerShot A560 recently.
Have tried taking some photos so far using this camera.
So far so good. It is quite easy to use.
As I never really learn about taking photo so far, all I have to do was to select the AUTO shooting mode. Following is a picture taken in front of my home. Not bad right

However, there are quite a number of functions and new vocabulary to be learned in this digital camera. Following are some of my learning list:
- Mega Pixels
- ISO settings
- Red-eye reduction
- DiGiC III Image Processor
- Digital Zoom
- Face Detection AF/AE/FE
- PictBridge
- CCD
- Optical Zoom Lens

I should say I am still an engineer

Before learning a new skill, I love to know the fundamental or reading the manual of it. Shouldn’t be like this, but cannot change
always wasted a lot of time before learning a new skill. -
